About us
Sun Way is dedicated to promoting sun safety. We believe our best chance of protecting our children from skin cancer is to reduce their exposure to the sun, without reducing their enjoyment of the outdoors.
We started Sun Way because we wanted a better solution that just "slip, slop, slap" {slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen, slap on a hat}. It's a great campaign that has been very successful for the American cancer society and other organizations around the world, but we believe there is more we can do to ensure real sun safety. Any parent, who has struggled to rub sunscreen on squirming wet and sandy children, knows that it's no fun for anyone – child or adult – and it's nearly impossible to cover every square inch of exposed skin.

Sun Way- sun protective swimwear and hats utilize the latest advances in materials with sun-blocking properties. All our products are made out of materials that offer the highest degree of protection available anywhere in the world – materials that have a rating of UPF50+ from the Australian radiation protection and Nuclear Safety Agency {ARPNSA}. This means they block at least 98% of ultraviolet light, each individual Sun Way garment comes with a certificate verifying that it is made from material that has been tasted and proven to provide UPF50+ level protection.
Our products are made to keep their bright, colorful dyes, prints, crystals and embroideries against the aggression of swimming pool chloride, sea salt and ultra-violet rays.
